Jo Anne Setzer. My alma mater is Colorado Women’s College. My weaving career began about 40 years ago by taking classes at the then Eastern Montana College in Billings. Over the years, numerous workshops in many varied weaving techniques kept the weaving flame aglow while family dominated activities. In 1998 the dream of a “gambrel roofed barn” for a weaving studio became a reality. Teaching workshops at MAWS for the past 10 years has been fun and challenging! I’m grateful to have the opportunity to share what I have learned about the craft of hand weaving.
